“I was out getting food to feed my babies when a rusty, sharp, metal leg hold trap snapped on my leg. I’m in pain, but I’m even more scared for my babies. What will they do without me? What will they think when their mama never comes home?
I’ve tried twisting and pulling and everything else I could imagine, for the past few days, but I can’t get out. I’ve been drinking the dew in the mornings, but it’s not enough. My throat is so parched I can hardly breathe. I’ve dug everywhere to search for anything to eat, but there’s only grass and dirt. As I grow weaker, I’m starting to ask myself: is the only way out for me to chew my own leg off? My babies need me, but I don’t know if I can do it. I’m afraid if I even start, I’ll just pass out and die.
But what else is there for me to do? Please, help me. I’m scared. I’m alone. And my babies are going to die.”
This is what every animal in a leg-hold trapped is saying. But you can help us save animals like her by making fur history. If the fur ban passes in San Francisco, on March 27, it will start a wave of change across the globe. Every name and signature counts, as we’ll be passing the full list to the SF Board on March 26.

The weirdest thing about our society is how people find an alternative to capitalism to be literally inconceivably, despite capitalism only existing for like 1% of human history.
