Ted Conover, who has told stories for The Moth, brought his storytelling skills to Bread Loaf 2013, reading from his article, “The Way of All Flesh” (Harper’s, May 2013). To research “The Way of All Flesh,” Conover became a USDA meat inspector and worked at a Cargill beef slaughterhouse in Nebraska.
