Norwegian designer Siren Elise Wilhelmsen describes her ingenious, heat sensitive rug, which changes its colour and pattern according to the temperature, as a ‘soft thermometer’. The carpet is braided into a geometric pattern using three colours of wool, each with a different temperature sensitivity.
