“Starting her life at a dairy farm in Canada, Sweety was kept inside a gloomy industrial building where she was denied access to the outside world. Once she was old enough she was entered into production and, like most dairy cows, she was forced to endure a relentless cycle of insemination, pregnancy and birth. Despite giving birth to many calves, every one was torn away from her moments after being born. Her sons were sold for veal and her daughters were destined to the same fate as her.”
